Sit at a desk/drawing table.

I will distribute new file folder.

I will distribute a Personal Information Sheet.

Print your name and A4 on the tab.

Fill out the Personal Information sheet. I need this in case of an emergency.

My name is Steve Campbell.

A few expectations:

Be seated and listen when I am speaking to the class.

Follow my instructions.

If I ask you to look at the projector screen, please do that.

If I ask you to look at me, please do that.

I have write-offs. These are a waste of our time, so let's not waste time.

We had too many passes on Tuesday. If this continues, I will not be able to write hall passes.

There is a clock in this room. Only the minute hand is correct.

Now...........

We will make a seating chart.

Put your folder on the desktop where you wish to sit. Stay seated. I will come to your table.

I will collect the new folders after I make the seating chart.

After I have collected the new folders and made the seating chart......

Get a new piece of blank paper.

For 15 minutes, complete draw a line drawing like the one on screen or the one that you have as a photocopy. Do this on a blank piece of paper. Write your name in the lower right section of the page. Write today's date by your name.

As you are doing this, I will pass out the folders you created on Tuesday.

I will also pass out the line drawings you began on Tuesday.

Before you begin to continue working on them, I will do a demonstration on the white board.

Work on your line drawings, using several different types of lines. Repeat some of the lines in some of the areas. Have center of interest. Refer to the objectives you copied down on your Assignment score sheet on Tuesday.

I will take grades during the last 30 minutes of class.

On your time sheet, write 8/25 for today's date. Write down what you did today at the end of class. Write in how much time you worked.
